Since 2010, the institute has been dedicated to a holistic approach to body, art and nature education. This unique combination of dance pedagogy and body therapy methods are supported by the latest neurobiological findings and invite a healing approach to body, expression and touch.

The Holistic Dance Institute was founded in 2010 in St. Andrä-Wördern, Austria by Sabine Parzer. Participants from all over Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, Russia and South America have taken part in the events and over 400 people have completed several years of training.

The Holistic Dance Institute is an independent company that is committed to the quality characteristics and values of ISMETA, see Pillars of Profession. Sabine Parzer is the founder and director of the Holistic Dance Institute and regularly invites guest teachers from Austria as well as from abroad.

Holistic Dance is a process-oriented approach that is tailored to the individual needs of groups and participants. This approach allows a profound engagement with the body, expression and touch and can help people achieve greater mental clarity, emotional integrity, physical stability and spiritual unity. Holistic Dance is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical treatment.
