Workshop with Stefan Steur Playgrounds of Contact – A Journey into Movement and Connection Contactimpro for beginners and advanced practitioners This workshop invites you to explore and deepen the foundations of Contact Improvisation. We will investigate core principles such as sharing weight, the rolling point of contact, leading and following, and listening through touch. Through simple, progressive exercises, you will explore ways of giving and receiving weight, finding more easeful pathways through different levels, and playfully engaging in dance with others while remaining free in your movement. This creates a foundation for experimenting with simple lifts—step by step, with a focus on safety, clear communication, and mutual willingness and trust. We will explore our dance in solo, duets, and group scores. Bodywork and somatic practices (how do I experience my body from within? how does my body feel in self-perception?) are integral parts of this weekend. The workshop is open to beginners as well as those who wish to deepen their foundations. No prior experience is required—only curiosity, respect for your own boundaries, and a willingness to engage in movement and connection. Price: € 260,- / TT's € 210,- TT price: applies to anyone who is currently participating in a Holistic Dance Teachers Training or has successfully completed one in the past.
